Growing up as the daughter of a photography teacher, I was never far from a camera. I spent countless hours in the spare bedroom that had been transformed into a darkroom, eagerly watching as my images slowly came to life in the dim light.

I knew without a doubt, this is what I was meant to do.

Since those early days, I've worked as a staff photographer for local publications, including The Augusta Chronicle in Augusta, GA, The Boston Globe in Boston, MA, and Seacoast Media Group in Portsmouth, NH where I was named New Hampshire Press Photographer of the Year. Most days, you can find me on the campus of Boston University where I am the staff photojournalist or at a venue documenting a wedding for one of my clients.

What I find most powerful about photography is that it offers a window to the past. A nostalgic person by nature, photos present me with something tangible to hold onto, easing my fear that a moment could be lost. As life moves forward so quickly and details grow hazy, a photograph has the power to bring us back. A single photo has the power to ignite all of the senses as if no time has passed at all.

To me, the experience of life is a collection of millions and millions of images, all woven together to create a story. I’m honored to have the opportunity to document part of yours.
