Kim + Max | Old Sturbridge Village Wedding | Sturbridge MA Wedding Photography

Kim and Max have  such a great love story. They met in France when Kim was studying abroad at a rugby bar. Kim says that Max didn’t speak English and her French was terrible but they spent hours talking on the banks of the Garonne River. Max had offered to drive her home when she realized that the metro had closed for the evening and he serenaded her with his favorite Michael Jackson mix tape. The rest is history!

I always loved going to Old Sturbridge Village as a child so I was really looking forward to Kim and Max’s wedding there in September. Many of their guests traveled from France to be there and had never been to the United States before which made their wedding all the more special. They both got ready separately and then did a “first look” prior to the start of the ceremony. I was overwhelmed by the scenery and the many beautiful locations for the “formal photos” and the light was perfect as well. They said their vows as the sun started to go down in front of family and friends and then headed off to the Oliver Wight Tavern for a beautiful reception. From their amazing choreographed first dance to the packed dance floor, there was so much positive energy flowing at this wedding. I am so happy that I got to be a part of it. Congrats Kim and Max!
