Kelly and Devin’s wedding was a perfect ending to my wedding season. It was beautiful November afternoon and the whole day was filled with so much emotion.
They played records while they got ready together at The Hotel Commonwealth and then we headed over to Longfellow Park in Cambridge where the ceremony took place.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd as Kelly and Devin said their vows. As part of the ceremony, their friends read letters that Kelly and Devin had written to one another during a summer that they were apart. They had met at UCLA during their freshmen orientation and had been friends. They finally got together and the end of their sophomore year when Devin left the country. These letters were amazing and the whole scene could’ve been made into a Nicholas Sparks book.
The light was perfect following the ceremony and we walked around the beautiful grounds at The Longfellow House to take some photos. Next we headed over The Hawthorne in Boston where they celebrated with their close friends and family.
It really was such an amazing, unique day- filled with an intimacy that’s often hard to capture on wedding days. I am honored that I had the chance to witness it. Congratulations!
