I’ve been trying to catch up on the blog lately, going back through recent shoots and finally giving some of my recent portraits a place to land. These were all photographed for Boston University for various stories. I’ve been experimenting more with lighting, seeing how it falls and how it shapes a moment, how it can change the feeling of a photograph entirely.




These photos were for a story on eating disorders. I wanted to try and give the photos a more serious and moody tone.

These were part of a story I did on BU community members that were running in the Boston Marathon for charity. They all were participating in Bank of America Boston Marathon Official Charity Program

It’s always fun getting to photograph athletes. These were photographed for BU Today, as profiles of the student athletes. There’s an intensity and focus they bring that naturally translates well to portraits. I tried to use dramatic lighting to emphasize strength, presence, and authority.
