Katie + David | Multicultural Arts Center

Katie and David’s wedding at the Multicultural Arts Center in Cambridge was pure joy from beginning to end.

I could hear laughter as I made my way to Katie’s hotel room before the wedding. I didn’t even need to check the room number- I knew I was in the right place and that energy carried through the entire day.

The first look was emotional. They were just so happy to see each other and you could feel it. Their vows were some of the best I’ve ever heard. They were funny, heartfelt, and completely them. There were tears and laughter from the guests and definitely from me behind the camera. One of my favorite moments was David promising Katie that he’d get a cat because it makes her happy, despite being allergic. As a fellow cat person, I consider that a pretty solid declaration of love.

And then there was the dancing. Some of these people were seriously good. The dance floor was packed all night, and I’m pretty sure I witnessed a few professional-level moves.

It was the kind of day that reminded me why I love what I do. I left feeling so happy that I got to be part of it and I couldn’t wait start going through the photos.

Katie and David, thank you for letting me document such a joyful, emotional, ridiculously fun day. Congratulations!
