Alex and Kristy were married during a beautiful ceremony at Augusta State University. The celebration followed at The Boat House, overlooking the Savannah River in Augusta. The day couldn’t have been more perfect- there were lots of laughs, (and lots of tears
) These two were such a pleasure to work with- cool, calm and collected the entire day… oh, and apparently they don’t enjoy getting their picture taken but they’re incredibly photogenic- don’t you think! Congrats you two-here are a few of my favorites…

Congratulations Alex and Kristy!
Congratulations, Brian and Fran!
Brian and Fran were married at Curtis Baptist Church and celebrated at Marion Hatcher Center in downtown Augusta. It turned out to be a perfect day! We were able to get lots of photos outside of this beautiful venue. I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with this sweet couple… here are a few favorites so far.
Ashton and Ayden
Meet the adorable Ashton and Ayden! One of my favorite wedding couples, Joseph and Jawanna wanted me to take some photos of these two cuties and they could not have been more cooperative or well-behaved. 7 year-old Ashton could be a model in real life- such a natural in front of the camera and 9 month-old Ayden only needed one snack break and then it was back to showing off those big eyes and squeezable cheeks!

Congratulations, Joseph and Jawanna!
Joseph and Jawanna were married at Spirit Creek Baptist Church in Augusta and then we headed to North Augusta to celebrate at The Palmetto Terrace ballroom. Let’s just say this couple knows how to party! What a fun wedding. Congrats you two! Here are a few of my favorite photos from the day…

Isabella and Family
I had the pleasure of hanging out with adorable 8 year-old, Isabella and her family recently. She showed me her beautiful art work, where some of her favorite spots were at the Augusta Canal, told me some great jokes, and most importantly, didn’t get tired of me taking pictures of her! She told me that she would never ever get sick of a person… so sweet.

Brian and Fran Engaged!
This was such a fun shoot and a fun couple! Brian works for the Greenjackets so we got to hang out on the field for a little while. Fran also had some great ideas for good photo spots. I can’t wait for their wedding next year!

Congratulations, Adam and Morgan!
When I moved to Augusta a few years ago, I never thought in a million years I would meet the amazing people that I have met here. Adam and Morgan are two of those people that I’ve been lucky to cross paths with… congrats you two! I’m going to miss having you around.

Joseph and Jawanna
I was very happy that Joseph and Jawanna wanted to hang around downtown Augusta for their engagement photos. I love having an urban backdrop for photos. Even though the weather was a bit unusually warm for spring, these two were troopers! They were very patient with me as I kept telling them I was trying to find the perfect light
I’m looking forward to their wedding in the fall.

Baby Ellie
I photographed six-month old Ellie this past weekend. What a cutie! I was even lucky enough to get a peak of her first tooth coming in.

Congratulations Jill and Alyssa
It’s a New England thing- once you’ve lived there, there’s no where else you would rather call home. Even though it’s cold and dreary, expensive and crowded, there’s a reason people are drawn to it. I met Jill and Alyssa when I was living in Boston years ago and I am fortunate that our paths have crossed again while making a pit stop in Georgia. We have become great friends and they are close enough that if I ever need to be reminded how wonderful Boston is, Jill and Alyssa are just a short drive away. I was more than honored to celebrate this day with them back up north in Salem, MA. It was a beautiful, emotional and nostalgic weekend set against the backdrop of where we all call home.
