Rita and Dan were recently married at the Coonamesset Inn in Falmouth on a gorgeous September day. Both hailing from Quincy, their mothers knew each other from PTA but Rita and Dan never got to know each other until one weekend when they were both home visiting from college. After their first date, the rest is history. “We were pretty much inseparable” says Rita. They now own a home together with several cats that they rescued.
On their wedding day, my second shooter Michael Desmond Cox took some photos of Dan and the guys getting ready while I hung out with the girls. Emotions were high during the first look. They were both so excited to see one another for the first time. I think my favorite images were taken right after this. They were just so happy being together and Dan didn’t even seem to mind he was being photographed! The ceremony, performed by the best man was beautiful. There were lots of laughs and a few tears. The reception followed with some emotional parent dances and lots of dancing!
I worked some pretty great people that day including Kimberly Richard, who did am amazing job on the make-up and the talented, David Anthony who captured the video.
